Booking a Private-Pool Villa in Karjat: What to Check

A private pool is often the reason a group picks a villa. These are the questions worth asking so the pool works for your group, not just for the photos.

Is it really private?

Ask whether the pool is shared with other bookings, the owners or day visitors during your stay. "Private" should mean only your group uses it.

Children and non-swimmers

Ask about depth, a shallow area and whether an adult must be present. Plan who watches the children at each swim — that is always the group's responsibility.

Timings and house rules

Many villas set pool hours, clothing rules or limits on glassware and music near the water. Knowing these in advance avoids awkward moments.

  • Pool hours, including evenings
  • Swimwear and shower rules
  • Food and drinks near the pool
  • Cleaning schedule during the stay

The pool at Askara

Askara has a long swimming pool with a waterfall that is lit blue at night, a jacuzzi-style corner and a separate shallow baby pool. The cottages sit around the pool, so it is the centre of the stay. Ask us about current pool timings when you enquire.
